As a Lead Finance Business Partner, you'll be at the forefront of driving business performance, collaborating with commercial and finance teams to deliver insightful financial guidance. Your expertise will empower decision-making and foster change, ensuring optimal performance and strategic growth.

Accountabilities:

  • Lead business planning and forecasting cycles and reviews.
  • Share accountability with the business for accurate forecasts, understanding the business model and financial drivers to deliver precise performance and brand forecasts.
  • Develop and challenge key forecasting assumptions, using business knowledge and scenario modelling to support strategic decisions.
  • Provide financial analysis of performance, forecasts, risks, and opportunities based on market data and trends.
  • Offer quality input, influence, and recommendations for business cases and investment decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate reporting and planning.
  • Communicate governance and compliance standards to integrate them into commercial decision-making, highlighting concerns and suggesting improvements.
  • Enhance professional financial capability across the cluster market.
  • Initiate changes to improve finance practices and processes.

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or business administration; a master’s degree or relevant professional certifications preferred.
  • Proven 5+ years of experience in financial planning, forecasting, and analysis within a corporate environment.
  • Experience managing profit and loss statements and resource allocations.
  • Strong knowledge of financial modelling, scenario planning, and sensitivity analysis.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., Excel, SAP, Power BI).
  • Fluency in English.

Desirable Skills/Experience:

  • Experience working in a global pharmaceutical organization or understanding of the drug development life cycle and/or commercial aspects.
  • Experience in auditing positions within an audit or finance consultancy company.
  • Project management experience.
