Manager, Commercial REMS Data & Insights
This is what you will do:
This individual plays a pivotal role in supporting Business Operations and driving the organization's data-driven decision-making through continuously improving Commercial Risk Evaluation and Mitigation Strategies (“REMS”) data quality and data management operational capabilities. Under minimal supervision, the Manager will ensure operational efficiencies and data accuracy across all REMS-related datasets within the Alexion ecosystem. The individual must be confident, have excellent communicationskillsand be able to effectively collaborate across all commercial functions.
You willbe responsible for:
Data Strategy Development:
Support the Director, Commercial REMSOperationsto develop and implement comprehensive REMS data strategies aligning with commercial and businessobjectives.
Identifyopportunities forleveragingREMS data to drive business growth and operational efficiency.
Project Management:
Establish and follow project management guidelines that are scalable and can beleveragedacross all REMS data related projects.
Consistently track against all actions/deliverables to ensure projects stay on track and on time.
REMS Data Quality and Governance:
Ensure seamless integration and alignment of REMS data into MDM, SAP, CRM, and other downstream systems.
Develop complex reports tomonitorREMS data quality and ensure compliance.
Establish and track KPIs for REMS data management initiatives.Identifyopportunities for process optimization and lead projects to streamline workflows across functions.
Support monitoring of vendor REMS data feeds for uninterrupted data availability.
Establish and enforce data governance policies and procedures to ensure high data quality and compliance across all commercial REMS operations.
Monitor data usage and quality metrics, implementingimprovementsas necessary.
Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g.Field Sales, Ethics & Compliance, IT, etc.) to gather requirements, drive projects, and resolve any data processing issues.
REMS Data Analysis, Quality, And Integrity:
Deliver REMS data-driven insights and reports to business stakeholders, guiding strategic decisions.
Own advanced analytics and business intelligence activities by performing proactive reviews of REMS data toidentifyinsights and trends, proactivelyassessingand ensuring REMS data quality, and supporting cross-functional teams in their understanding of the results.
Product Launch Support:
Support data related activities and projects for new product launches and development of new REMS programs.
Identifyopportunities forleveragingREMS data processes and repositories to drive alignment, consistency and operational efficiency across products, indications, and the commercial team.
Collaboration and Leadership:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, Insights and Sales Operations, marketing, and sales, to integrate REMS data strategies across the organization.
Fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making.
You will need to have:
Education:
Master’s or bachelor’sdegree in relevantfield(Business, Computer or Information/Data Sciences, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics)required.
Advanced degree preferred.
Skills/Experience:
REMS Expertise:
5+ years of experience, with a strong knowledge of commercial related data sets
Industry Background:
Pharma/biotech experience, preferably within or partnering with Commercial teams.
Data Skills:
Proventrack recordin supporting data-driven projects for a commercial organization
Proficiencyin data management and analytical tools such as SQL, Python, or Tableau
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to derive insights from complex datasets, and capability to manage multiple requests simultaneously
Strong experience in data visualization and presentation of results
Data Governance & Process:
Familiar with data governance processes.
Process-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving and workflow understanding to ensure data quality.
Commercial Breadth:
Experience across sales, operations, patient services, analytics, vendor management, marketing, sales, market research, and medical affairs.
Experience with new product launches and/or high-growth exposure.
Leadership and Collaboration:
Proven people and project management skills.
Track recordof effective functional and cross-functional collaboration.

Annual base salary for this position ranges from 104,088.80 to 136,616.55.AstraZeneca is committed to providing fair and equitable compensation opportunities to all colleagues. Our compensation policies and practices have been designed to allow colleagues to progress through the salary range over time as they progress in their role. The range provided in this posting represents an offer pay range used in a majority of situations. The base pay offered will vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including the candidate's skills and experience, job-related knowledge, and other specific business and organizational needs. In some cases, offers outside the range may also be considered to address unique circumstances.
In addition, our permanent positions offer an annual Variable Pay Bonus/Short Term Incentive opportunity as well as eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (if applicable to role). Benefits offered for permanent roles include a competitive Flex Benefits & Retirement Savings Program, 4 weeks’ paid vacation, and annual Personal Days.
