CE IBEX Director
Job Purpose
As the Innovation & Business Excellence (IBEX) Director for Central Europe, you will be a key strategic leader driving AstraZeneca's commercial excellence and innovation initiatives across the region. This executive role demands forefront leadership to shape and execute transformative strategies that leverage data-driven insights, cutting-edge technologies, and innovative healthcare solutions. You will orchestrate cross-functional efforts to enhance patient outcomes, optimize commercial performance, and position AstraZeneca at the forefront of the evolving healthcare landscape in Central Europe. Your strategic acumen and ability to navigate complex regional dynamics will be crucial in aligning local initiatives with AstraZeneca's regional and global mission, ultimately contributing to the company's growth and its commitment to pushing the boundaries of science to deliver life-changing medicines.
Key responsibilities
Strategic Leadership and Business Excellence
- Shape the marketing company's strategic plan for Central Europe, leveraging focused insights and market trends
- Drive sales force effectiveness initiatives (e.g., incentives, customer segmentation, KPI tracking)
- Ensure proper ROI calculations for strategic investments
- Collaborate with regional and global teams to align on Central European IBEX strategy
Innovation and Digital Transformation
- Define and implement the overall digital strategy for commercial business in Central Europe
- Develop and implement advanced analytical capabilities such as AI, Machine Learning, and Predictive Analytics
- Lead the digitalization efforts across the entire organization
- Identify and conceptualize new healthcare service opportunities using disruptive technologies
Data Science and Business Intelligence
- Maximize commercial impact through greater insights and analytics (data science)
- Implement patient and customer data strategies to enhance sales and improve customer experience
- Generate quantitative and qualitative insights on clients and competitors
- Ensure data-driven decision-making processes across the organization
Customer Engagement Excellence
- Design and implement omnichannel strategies to provide differential value to customers
- Optimize digital assets and create standardized customer experiences
- Incorporate innovative channel approaches into brand plans
- Enhance core commercial capabilities (e.g., Account Working, Coaching, digital capabilities)
Capabilities and Talent Development
- Lead the strategy for planning training projects and commercial skills development
- Ensure alignment of training materials with company policies and compliance requirements
- Attract, develop, and retain high-performance team members
- Promote a culture based on AstraZeneca's values
Healthcare Innovation and Patient Solutions
- Lead innovative data driven health solutions that improve access, adherence, and patient outcomes
- Expand healthcare innovation partnership initiatives
- Collaborate with various stakeholders (authorities, health professionals, patients, public entities, societies, associations)
Cross-functional Collaboration and Stakeholder Management
- Work closely with Strategy & Planning, Commercial Operations, and other relevant departments
- Engage with external stakeholders to support business objectives
- Coordinate internal resources and external suppliers to ensure project success
- Represent IBEX in the Central European Senior Management Team
Compliance and Risk Management
- Ensure all activities comply with applicable external and internal regulations
- Oversee the ethical implementation of new technologies and data-driven initiatives
- Collaborate with Medical and Compliance leaders to maintain integrity in all operations
