Industrial Engineering Intern
We are seeking Undergraduate freshman, sophomore, and junior students working towards a degree in Industrial Engineering for a 10-Week Student Intern role in Frederick, MD for a June 2nd - August 8th contract period.
Position Duties:
- Facilitate problem solving sessions with manufacturing, quality, and/or technology departments to develop process improvement resolutions.
- Support continuous improvement opportunities throughout the site to bolster efficiency and lean aspirations.
Position Requirements:
- Undergraduate freshman, sophomore, and junior students working towards a degree in Industrial Engineering
- **Candidates must have an expected graduation date after August 2025.
- MS Office with Excel experience is required
- Exposure to Lean Practices (5S, Continuous Improvement, Tier Meetings)
- Enthusiasm for collaboration, cross-functional projects, public speaking, and presentation design.
- US Work Authorization is required at time of application.
- Applicants must have work authorization that does not now or in the future require sponsorship of a visa (e.g., CPT, H1-B, F-1 (OPT), TN, or other non-immigrant status). This role will not be providing CPT or OPT support.
- Ability to report onsite to Frederick, MD 5 days a week. This role will not provide relocation assistance, and local candidates will be prioritized.
- Minimum grade point average of 3.0
The hourly rate of compensation for this position ranges from $25.00 - $28.00 per hour.
