Introduction to Role:

Join us in the exciting world of Planning Excellence, a key part of Global Supply Chain and Strategy at AstraZeneca. This role is designed to improve outcomes, drive simplification, and support excellent process performance through the adoption of Lean, AstraZeneca, and Industry best practices for Demand and Supply Planning processes. You'll work primarily with the Planning Excellence Demand team, Operations IT, EDE2.0, and Axial teams with the objective of enabling and accelerating Business outcome through Digitalisation of processes and identification and introduction of new technical capabilities. This is your chance to be involved in and lead multiple improvement projects supporting the Planning Excellence strategy.

Accountabilities:

As a Planning Excellence Digital Manager, you will be an expert in the GSC&S Demand Planning applications and how they support the process. You will ensure data links to connected processes are understood and the end-to-end process is optimised. You will lead the operational relationship with Ops IT, work with RDLs and PE LT to identify digitalisation opportunities, and help develop and support PE Digitisation triage process. You will also ensure process and application training assets are up-to-date, visible, and effective.

Essential Skills/Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree- Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, IT or relevant work experience
• BA experience in Demand Planning / Supply Planning process
• Experience within Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, Consumer goods or the electronics Industry
• Lean Process Management
• Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills
• Proven track record working cross-functionally with high level of commitment and follow through
• Project management understanding & practice
• Ability to build trusted relationships with key Stakeholders
• APS packages: APO, OMP or other
• Advanced Microsoft Excel, Power BI
• Experience working in Demand Management / Forecasting management BA or IT Lead role
• Proven participation of multinational Process and IT change programs.
• Proven delivery of Digitalisation improvement activities
