SAP Basis Application Engineer

We are currently seeking a SAP Basis Application Engineer to join our IT team in Guadalajara, México. This role is a key contributor to keep and sustain our SAP platform. Accountabilities:
As a SAP Basis Application Engineer, you will be deeply involved in SAP architecture and design. Providing SAP technical support on the SAP application, and not limited at Database and Operating system level as part of SAP application infrastructure. You will also contribute on company projects going on where you can build and strengthen skills on SAP installations, upgrades and migrations at SAP S/4, BW/4HANA Systems.

Essential Skills/Experience:
• Strong understanding of SAP architecture and design.
• Hands-on experience like SAP Basis administrator.
• Hands-on experience in SAP HANA administration for at least 1 year.
• Experience with SAP Application upgrades and/or SAP Database upgrades
• Excellent customer facing and internal communication skills.
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail.
• Experience in regulated environments and knowledge of GXP and SOX requirements.
• Experience working in a globally distributed team within a matrix structure.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

Desirable Skills/Experience:

• SAP Certification.

• Experience with HANA DB Upgrades and migrations.

• Knowledge in SAP Business Technology Platform

• Knowledge in SAP hyperscalers, preferably AWS.

• SAP working experience in SUSE or REDHAT Linux, AIX and Windows OS.

• Working experience on High Availability and Cluster Environment
