Platform Integration Engineer for SaaMa
AstraZeneca is currently looking for IT Data Integration Engineer to join our R&D IT Solution Delivery Team to manage and maintain our product (SaaMa) integration, that is GxP compliant, part of Clinical Development Platforms and is used across late science teams across all therapeutic areas. You will be a part of our BizDevOps team therefore will be responsible to work cross functionally with other team members such as Product Lead, DevOps Lead and technical engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
The role of our ideal candidate will include but not limited to
- Build Integration pipelines in align with Standard architectural patterns.
- Create reusable artefacts wherever possible.
- Build User Guides and Best-practice for Tool adoption and usage.
- Ability to utilize the vendor based products and build an optimum solution.
- Work with product teams to provide full-lifecycle tooling guidance, reusable artefacts (such as Internal Actions).
- Work with Integration Dev Ops Lead including vendor teams to build new integrations and manage existing integrations.
- Participate in continuous improvement discussions with the business and IT stakeholders as part of scrum team
- Responsible to solve day-to-day BAU Tickets.
Mandatory Skills
- API Integration Experience: At least 2+ years of experience with API terminologies and integration, preferably using Mulesoft.
- SQL Proficiency: Strong SQL knowledge related to relational databases, including RDS, Redshift, Postgres, DB2, Microsoft SQL Server, and DynamoDB.
- IT Service Delivery Compliance: Ensure adherence to the IT Service Delivery Framework in all activities related to AD.
- Organizational Skills: Organize and prioritize tasks effectively, meet deadlines, and work independently.
- Problem-Solving: Utilize excellent problem-solving skills to address challenges and improve processes.
- Process Tools Experience: Familiarity with tools like JIRA and Confluence to enhance team collaboration.
- Global Collaboration: Contribute independently and collaborate with team members across the globe, embracing diverse cultures and backgrounds.
- Agile Methodologies: Experience working in agile teams using methodologies such as SCRUM, Kanban, and SAFe.
- CI/CD Integration: Assist in the integration of CI/CD processes within the existing Change & Configuration Management scope (e.g., ServiceNow & Jira).
Preferred Skills
- ITIL practices (change management, incident and problem management and others)
- Snaplogic Experience: Experience and hands-on knowledge in Snaplogic and associated Snap Packs is a plus for current projects.
- Create Custom Snap Packs: Develop and deploy custom snap packs to optimize production processes.
- Experience in GxP or SOx regulated environment
- Proficiency in developing, deploying, and debugging cloud-based applications using AWS.
- Passion for learning, innovating and delivering valuable software to people.
- Experience with dynamic dashboards (e.g. PowerBI)
- Experience in Python programming
- Experience with Snaplogic & Mulesoft integration platforms - Administration (nice to have).
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor or master’s degree in computer science or life science related discipline with IT/CRO/Pharma experience with total of 6+ years of similar experience
