AstraZeneca is seeking an experienced and advanced-level Business Analyst to join our team. This role requires proficiency in the Veeva Vault platform, particularly Regulatory Information Management (RIM). The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in business needs identification, business analysis planning, stakeholder analysis, change management, and solution evaluation. This position will also involve collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure solutions meet strategic business needs.

Responsibilities:

• Veeva Vault Expertise:Provide advanced experience and expertise with the Veeva Vault platform, focusing on Regulatory Information Management (RIM).

• Business Needs Identification:Assess and define business needs, proactively seeking improvement opportunities aligned with strategic goals. Identify capability gaps and propose solutions through thorough research.

• Business Analysis Planning:Select appropriate analysis approaches based on complexity, risks, and dependencies. Manage and plan activities to meet deliverables and deadlines, ensuring high performance and quality of analytical work.

• Stakeholder Analysis & Change Management:Identify and manage stakeholders effectively, building relationships based on individual needs and influence. Contribute to communication plans and change management initiatives.

• Requirements Analysis and Design Definition:Manage requirements plans, elicit, approve, and process changes. Lead the identification of functional and technical requirements, translating them into design specifications.

• Business Case Definition:Develop detailed business cases for investments, including ROI and benefits realization.

• Solution Evaluation:Analyze and assess solution proposals, ensuring business readiness and maximizing value versus spend.

Collaboration:

• Work with business stakeholders to ensure solutions meet strategic needs.

• Collaborate with Business Partners, Regulatory Platform Lead, and Regulatory Platform Team.

• Communicate effectively with business customers regarding requirements and impacts.

• Partner with IT Architecture, Delivery, and Support for requirement clarity and solution testing.

• Coordinate with key external vendors for product requirement delivery.

• Collaborate with Test Lead and Change Management/Communication Lead for testing and change management plans.

Essential:

• Proven experience with business analysis tools/techniques for business change.

• Experience with complex integrated systems and strategic thinking.

• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.

• Experience in a regulated environment and virtual collaboration.

• Mentoring or coaching experience.

• Experience managing third-party suppliers/vendors.

Desirable:

• Degree in a relevant discipline or formal business analysis certification.

• Lean SIGMA training and Agile methodology experience.

• Experience in a global organization with a complex context.

• Pharmaceutical business or cross-industry business domain knowledge.
