Senior Director, Cell Therapy Hub
You Will:
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to establish the strategy for the AstraZeneca Cell Therapy Hub.
Establish a vision, strategic goals and transformative business proceses using digital solutions to serve sites in the US and ex-US and enhance the customer experience by anticipating patient obstacles.
Partner with AstraZeneca cross-functional teams (Clin Ops, SMM, Supply Chain, Medical, IT, Commercial, others) and establish strategic plans for coordinating the patient and cell journey to lead site's single contact and enhance the customer experience for cell therapy sites.
Develop relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally to lead agreement for the AZ Cell Therapy Hub, establish service level expectations with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Clin Ops, SMM, IT and others.
Provide leadership and mentorship to team members promoting their professional growth.
Lead business change management and conduct process maturity assessment for the AZ Cell Therapy Hub.
Manage and contribute continuous improvements and development of solutions to deliver enhanced patient care experience to the VeinToVein workflows.
Maintain current knowledge of and follow established AstraZeneca Cell Therapy Hub goals, processes, regulatory standards, compliance and procedures.
Demonstrate genuine passion and care for patients and uphold AstraZeneca Cell Therapy Hub values in daily individual work performance.
You will drive and implement critical programs on the AZ HUB ensuring Cell Therapy Coordination for each patient is treated with the outmost level of customer service and operating as a high functioning team.
Must follow AstraZeneca's core values, procedures, and.Perform miscellaneous tasks as assigned.
You Have:
BA or BS degree in Nursing, Business, IT degree and Life Sciences or equivalent experience
10+ years of experience working within a healthcare/pharmaceutical environment, directly working with patients and healthcare providers.
Minimum 8 years of experience working in a cellular therapy ledership role.
Adapt to changes, and resolve complex problems promptly.
Experience working well across a matrix organization and be a team player
Flexibility in your schedule to provide support outside of regular business hours for emergent patient cases
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 50%
Desired Skills
· Demonstrated understanding of the healthcare customer environment.
· Experience working with complex IT systems or portals that support customer service, health care scheduling, supply chain management, and call centers.
· Familiarity with working in a regulated, quality-control (e.g., following strict SOPs when available and extrapolating fundamental principles to situations not defined)
The annual base salary for this position ranges from $199,000 to $299,000. However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (salaried roles), to receive a retirement contribution (hourly roles), and commission payment eligibility (sales roles).
