Senior Administrative Coordinator, US Innovation Business Excellence (IBEX)

Introduction to role:

Are you ready to make a difference? We are seeking a Senior Administrative Coordinator to provide the highest level of support to a member of the US Biopharmaceuticals Business Unit Leadership Team (US BBU LT). This role is a unique opportunity to directly impact the lives of patients by turning our deep and broad pipeline into a reality.

Accountabilities:

As a Senior Administrative Coordinator, you will use your extensive knowledge in a variety of areas to provide an advanced level of administrative support. Your responsibilities will include organizing and coordinating meetings and events, performing all company business in accordance with all regulations and company policy, assisting with preparation and distribution of confidential communication, and providing full recruitment support for VP. You will also provide specialist project-based administrative support for the leadership team.

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • Minimum of 5-7 years administrative, customer service and/or relevant business experience supporting senior leaders and/or executives
  • Applies an advanced level of knowledge / skills to a wide range of interdepartmental responsibilities
  • Demonstrated professional communication to enable frequent communication and engagement with AZ employees and members of senior management within AZ
  • Proactively sees opportunities for process improvement within specified department
  • High school or GED equivalent diploma required
  • Two-year Associate Degree or proven equivalent experience
  • Able to communicate effectively with ease and confidence
  • Ability to conduct work with detail orientation and managing multiple projects/tasks with virtual accuracy
  • Has general knowledge of working globally within a variety of cultures
  • Forward looking, results focused thinker
  • Works well independently, but also works successfully in a team setting

Desirable Skills/Experience:

  • Business school certification or Associate’s degree
  • Bachelors Degree
