National Oncology Account Director - NC

As the National Oncology Account Director (NOAD) in the Charlotte, NC Geography, you will leverage your clinical and business knowledge to advance Oncology business opportunities and objectives. You will be a role model for ethical and compliant leadership, contributing market insights and account level business knowledge to our overall Geography Planning process. Accountabilities:

As a NOAD, you will understand the strategic business priorities of AZ Oncology, assess strategic opportunities within the geography and key accounts, and share market dynamics and competitive intelligence internally. You will lead account team planning for assigned accounts, engage with customer account leadership, communicate clinical and economic rationale for AZ products, and identify issues and challenges with accounts. You will also enable product access and formulary/pathway placement within accounts/third party pathways and MACs.

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • A valid driver’s license and safe driving record
  • Validated understanding of customer segments and regional market dynamics within oncology
  • Strong proficiency in critical thinking, project management, communication/presentation, and arbitration/influencing skills.
  • Showed strength in Oncology clinical science and fluency in translating clinical outcomes and health economic data.
  • Strong financial management and eye for business with experience in contracting
  • 5 years of market access related experience
  • 7 years of experience in a pharma
  • 4 years of experience in oncology sales

Desirable Skills/Experience:

  • Established customer relationships with C&D Suite health system customers in geography.
  • Proven clinical/scientific competence.
  • Individual must demonstrate collaboration, entrepreneurialism, flexibility and tenacity.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with peers and management, internally and externally.
  • Proven negotiating capability.
  • Proven ethical and compliant behavior
  • Experience in sales leadership, field reimbursement, pharmacy leadership, medical leadership, or healthcare institution quality
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities and/or people management experience.
  • Demonstrated project management experience
