HR Business Partner (m/f/d)

As the HR BP for Austria, you will provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line managers across a number of therapeutic areas in partnership with HRD; including strategic and tactical mentorship on core HR processes such as total rewards, employee relations and performance development, etc. Acts as lead of initiatives like the employee survey FOCUS, and SHE (Safety, Health, Environment).

Main tasks:

You will understand and translate the Austria business strategy into people plans. You will apply your strong business and technical savvy, data-driven insights and HR expertise to be a real strategic partner to the business.

  • Business Partnering; Strategic support for business change and organisational shaping by Collaborating closely with senior management to understand business requirements and tailor specific solutions and ensuring interventions are integrated in a consistent way that supports AZ’s organisational objectives
  • Performance and Talent Management; Assists in planning and organisation of overall annual performance management process and refresher courses for employees and line mangers and supports HRD in talent management process and well as reports on workforce and goal setting

  • Capability Development; Assist with the analysis of current training development needs and plan for future capabilities needed throughout the various business units as well as advises on solutions, consolidation of development needs and inclusion in overall MC training plan
  • SSHE (Sustainability, Safety, Health, Environment); Supports internal SHE meetings and initiatives ensuring adherence and compliance to local standards and guidelines and ensures that annual SHE improvement plans are established and delivered including reporting and communication of SHE topics to organisation - Responsible for quarterly and monthly reporting as required on local or global level.

  • Change Project management; Devises change initiatives to improve business-orientation of HR function and associated processes as well as participates in internal projects as directed by HRD and or Senior Management and acts as key service function for SMT and line managers.

Requirements:

  • Excellent command in English and German
  • Proven work experience in a similar role in multinational matrix company and previous industry sector
  • Reward experience - To review in consultation with HRD overall sales bonus outlines, reward components and total rewards package
  • Competent with HR Administration - Reviews and simplifies onboarding process by digitising overall training plan, competence check and assisting in creation of contracts, salary comparison, reference letters, training agreements, general agreements etc.
  • Proficient MS Office
  • Ability to work with new technologies
  • Strategic planning
  • Detailed knowledge of labour legislation, HR standard processes
