Software Engineer / Senior Software Engineer

Location: Warsaw, Poland
Hybrid model of work: 3 days in office, 2 remote per week

We are seeking a motivated and passionate Software Engineer to join our Science and Enabling Units IT Solution Delivery Team at AstraZeneca.

As a Software Engineer / Senior Software Engineer, you will work closely with Software Engineers, Leads, and Architects to design, build, test, and deploy software solutions. This role involves analyzing requirements, implementing software solutions, testing components, release, and maintenance. You will have the opportunity to gain a deep understanding of the development stack and the domains you are working in, while working under the guidance of experienced team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with team members to design, build, test, and deploy software solutions
• Analyze requirements and implement software solutions
• Gain understanding and exposure to the development stack and relevant domains
• Work under the guidance of experienced team members
• Contribute to the migration to a DevOps operating model
• Take accountability for your work and support it after release

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Math, Computer Science, Information Science, or equivalent degree preferred but not required
• Evidence of a rich history of software engineering for self-taught engineers without a formal education
• 3+ years of hands-on software development experience / at least 5 years in case of Lead Software Engineer
