About the Role:
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be responsible for participating in month-end close activities and forecasting cycles, ensuring that all stakeholders within the business area receive the financial information they require to drive business performance, including embedded finance and supply chain. You will also play an essential role in supporting the Global Inventory SME Lead in the delivery of team objectives. This includes supporting the team, building knowledge, and driving the culture. You may be required to use your expertise to lead or contribute to special projects.
Typical Accountabilities:
- Perform month-end close activities for inventory and communicate financial results in a timely manner.
- Support the preparation of financial planning, presentations, and financial analysis used for Senior Leadership reviews.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, providing analytical support.
- Prepare efficient and accurate financial analyses of budgets, forecasts, and actual results.
- Support multiple business units through the delivery of effective management information.
- Work on improvements to existing tools or actively participate in creating new ones.
Education, Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
Essential
- Qualified finance professional or equivalent, with 3+ years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis.
- English language proficiency, both verbal and written.
- Excellent PC skills and experience, including SAP, BW, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience working with Power Query & Power BI.
- Ability to work well in and across diverse global teams.
- Confidence in working with Senior Management.
- Strong analytical ability.
Desirable
- Pharmaceutical industry experience.
- Experience using financial systems for budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Experience with macros and/or basic knowledge of VBA.
- Experience in manufacturing accounting.
