Business UAT Test Lead , Global Clinical Solutions Technologies,

The GCS Technologies Business UAT Test Lead needs to support and drive the testing preparation and script review and also to secure UAT resources and test data.

* In exceptional cases, we will consider candidates with less experience for the Manager II role

Main accountabilities

• Learn the system(s) assigned and drive the test approach
• Understand the scope of the release and plan testing activities with the support of the IT Test/Project Lead or/and Product Owner
• Coordinate the business test strategy and plan with project manager and other stakeholders
• Work with Product Owner to define desirable UAT scenarios
• Consolidate UAT scope and drive the UAT scripting and approval process (including required modifications)
• Create the test plan and execution cycles in Jira
• Prepare test data and testing environment (with the support of relevant stakeholders)
• Checking the entry criteria to start the execution
• Plan UAT by making sure business SMEs are allocated for UAT
• Familiarise business testers with how to use Jira, run scripts, record results, raise defects, etc., making sure that all tester completed training before the testers start to execute tests and all testers have required access to the systems
• Assign execution to the testers considering their availability during the UAT period
• Schedule and drive UAT sessions with business users and key stakeholders  
• Stay in touch with the IT Team to keep them informed of any bugs that arise, answer all their question and know when to run a re-execution
• Schedule and driving bug closing session with Product Owner
• Introduce suitable metrics for measuring testing progress and evaluating the quality of the testing and the product
• Communicate with project stakeholders about the progress of UAT and any delays in the execution of UAT
• Monitoring the test results, reviewing test executions, and gaining all needed approvals
• Ensure that all approvals are in place (test scripts, executions) and all created issues are in appropriate state in Jira (test plan xray, test executions xray, test xray, bug, etc.)
• Including in test report and test approach any deviations
• Prepare Test Report and Requirement Traceability Report, scheduling session with Project Stakeholders to gain needed approvals
• Ensure UAT is documented correctly in Jira and reported correctly in Test report and Requirement Traceability Report
• Verify exit criteria to close the UAT cycle
• Ensure system validation is conducted and approval to launch the system into production
• Act as a backup for the System Owner in their assigned area (if needed)

Essential:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 5 years’ work experience
• Prior testing or related experience
• Experience in working in Jira
• Communication and presentation skills
• Experience with testing tools
• Flexibility
• System Lifecyle Management understanding
• Understanding of GXP and compliance
