What you’ll do
Responsible for the strategic product marketing and promotional management of assigned products.
Sets sales and marketing priorities and provides the strategic focus with the proper resource allocation and management. Drives the achievement of business objectives by building, implementing, monitoring, and measuring marketing plans and programs. Ensures the right mix of knowledge and tools to meet sales and marketing objectives.
Typical Accountabilities
Ensures achievement of annual sales and market share targets
Prepares and develops insightful business plans for assigned products – market segmentation, strategy planning and development, resource allocation,
Conducts in-depth review and analysis of the market to identify key segment drivers, growth opportunities, and business threats.
Effectively manages the entire product portfolio and life cycle from pre-launch through market commercialization to maturity.
Closely collaborates with sales and other cross-functional groups (medical, commercial excellence, regulatory, finance, supply) in developing sound business decisions and product plans.
Aligns the business priorities with sales initiatives to maximize profitability.
Works with the sales team to ensure that the tools and programs are implemented effectively.
Tracks and analyzes product performance and program execution and adjusts as necessary
Establishes strategic partnerships with healthcare professionals and decision-makers to build advocacy.
Essential for the role
Bachelor’s Degree
At least 8-10 years of experience in pharmaceutical/ethical marketing
Superior strategic planning and analytical skills
Excellent project management skills powered by creativity and innovation to plan and execute marketing activities.
Excellent communication skills who can navigate conversations with stakeholders to improve brand activities.
Good understanding of financial analysis, forecasting, and supply chain management.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
Comfortable working in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
Desirable for the role
MBA in relevant field
Experience in Consumer and/or Managed Markets promotions and/or strategy role
Experience in Insight/Market Research
Sales and/or Sales Leadership experience
Understanding of the development and commercialization of pharmaceutical products
Understanding of the PH Healthcare environment
