Are you an ambitious finance professional with some years of experience and would you like to support our FP&A and Finance Business Partnering Director in driving the growth for AstraZeneca in the Nordics, then we have an exciting opportunity coming up as a Finance Business Partner placed in Stockholm.

To achieve this, we are building a high performing finance team to support our commercial organization to achieve their growth plans and help patients in need.
The role
Join us on an exciting journey where close finance partnership with the commercial organization is key. In this role, you will contribute to AstraZeneca’s strategy by supporting the FP&A and Finance Business Partnering Director in driving an efficient and value-adding financial planning and business performance reporting process. You will also act as the Finance Business Partner for our Medical organization and several support functions, while serving as the primary point of contact for OPEX and manpower-related costs/FTE across the organization. Additionally, this role offers opportunities to work on projects and assignments in other areas of the business, further strengthening cross-functional collaboration and business impact.
To excel as a true Finance Business Partner, you will demonstrate your analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with business insights and a strategic approach, to offer innovative solutions and win trust from stakeholders. You will work closely with the management teams across medical, support functions, and other key areas, guiding, enabling, challenging, and influencing decision-making to optimize both short- and long-term performance and strategic objectives.

What you will do
Acting as the key finance partner for OPEX and manpower-related costs/FTE, you will ensure alignment with business priorities while driving financial clarity, cost efficiency, and operational effectiveness.
Leveraging data-driven insights and advanced financial modeling, you will anticipate business needs and provide proactive recommendations that influence strategic decision-making.
Developing and implementing enhanced analytical capabilities, you will deliver high-impact OPEX insights with speed and accuracy, empowering business leaders with well-informed financial decisions.
Partnering closely with Regional and Global stakeholders, you will refine and optimize financial tools, systems, and platforms to improve their value for the Nordics business.
Driving continuous improvement in finance and business processes, you will enhance financial reporting, cost optimization strategies, risk management, and compliance, fostering a culture of efficiency and innovation.
Strengthening collaboration between the Nordic FP&A team and the shared service center in Poland, you will streamline workflows, enhance reporting accuracy, and improve overall efficiency in financial operations.
Providing proactive financial advice and guidance to commercial teams, you will ensure a financial perspective is embedded in key business decisions.
Supporting and constructively challenging strategies and resource allocation, you will help optimize employee and operational costs to drive a strong return on investment and achieve both long- and short-term goals.
Delivering insightful business performance reports, you will lead planning submissions and take proactive initiatives to address challenges and capitalize on opportunities.
Maintaining a strong commercial focus, you will stay ahead of business opportunities while identifying and mitigating financial risks.
Developing ad hoc business cases for new ideas and projects, you will play a key role in evaluating and driving strategic initiatives as they arise.

We are looking for an individual holding a Master degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration (MBA) or similar. As a professional, you have 2-4 years´ experience working as finance analyst or in FP&A preferably the pharmaceutical or FMCG industry but not necessarily.
Essential requirements
Proven experience in financial planning, reporting, and analysis, with a strong understanding of OPEX and workforce-related costs
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in financial systems, reporting tools, and data visualization platforms (E.g. Power BI).
Customer-centric
Ability to collaborate across functions and effectively manage stakeholders at all levels.
Fair business acumen with a track-record of collaborating with and influencing all levels of an organization to build trust
A Strategic mind-set and the ability to think outside the box
