Total Productive Maintenance Analyst
The AstraZeneca Mt. Vernon site was established in 1972 and is the flagship site delivering innovative, life changing oral solid medicines. At the site we formulate and pack OSD tablets and capsules for over 60+ markets. The Mt Vernon site is complex, the largest AZ production site in the US with over 700+ employees. We are located in the southwest corner of the state of Indiana, approximately 15 miles from Evansville, Indiana – the third largest city in the state. The Mt. The Total Productive Maintenance Analyst is responsible for the frontline coaching and implementation of the AstraZeneca Supply System Lean Principles and Techniques, including Total Productive Maintenance (TPM). Their efforts will aid with the delivery of sustainable benefits and increased capability to meet the needs of our customers.
Accountabilities
▪ Focuses on improving manufacturing and business processes through the application of TPM, Lean Manufacturing, and other Lean principles.
▪ Subject Matter Expert for TPM and driver for Autonomous Maintenance activities and associated programs.
▪ Ensure proper data collection, record-keeping and reporting for TPM related activities.
▪ Front line support, coaching, and implementation of the organization’s Lean capability.
▪ Supports Production staff to identify and prioritize productivity and other cost-reduction initiatives.
▪ Applies Lean tools such as 5S, Standard Work, TPM, and problem solving to identify opportunities, and facilitate cross-functional teams to find solutions.
▪ Coaches and mentors production and support staff to actively advance the knowledge and application of TPM techniques.
▪ Completes other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills/Experience
Highschool diploma (or higher) and 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
OR a 2 year degree in a related technical field and 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
OR a 4 year degree in a related technical field
Demonstrated ability to drive change and achieve business results through leadership of projects and cross-functional teams.
Strong ability to build relationships and network across multiple levels of the organization, including Leadership Team levels.
Must be able to work in a team environment and adapt to changing business needs.
Desirable Skills/Experience
Previous experience in the pharmaceutical or other regulated industry preferred.
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or a related technical field.
Lean knowledge or training.
Knowledge of Total Productive Maintenance.
