What you’ll do
Business Partnering & Decision Support
- Build robust financial forecasts and models that inform strategic decisions and drive business success.
- Collaborate with colleagues across different backgrounds, functions, and geographies to deliver financial insights that matter.
- Actively influence the development of commercial strategies for short- and long-term business growth.
- Partner with teams to surface high-impact projects, products, and opportunities.
- Encourage a data-driven culture, respectfully challenging assumptions as a trusted advisor.
- Guide product launch strategies, proactively managing uncertainties and risks.
- Connect with finance leaders globally to exchange knowledge and adopt best practices.
Business Performance
- Lead financial oversight for budgeting and forecasting cycles, providing clarity on revenue and expenditure.
- Deliver timely, insightful reporting, linking financial results to business performance.
- Influence planning with deep market and competitive insights.
- Drive cost excellence by streamlining processes and promoting efficiency.
- Perform in-depth risk/benefit analyses on key business initiatives to support data-driven choices.
- Equip colleagues with financial knowledge to empower better business decisions.
- Lead monthly business and finance performance reviews, adjusting forecasts as needed.
- Partner with the Finance Director to drive innovation and enhance practices.
- Manage end-of-month and year-end activities for the Therapeutic Area.
What you’ll bring
- 8+ years of relevant experience in finance/accounting and finance business partnering.
- At least 4 years of experience within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or related sectors.
- Skilled in market analytics, financial modeling, and generating valuable insights.
- Proven collaborator with a track record of building strong relationships and working effectively across diverse, cross-functional teams.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
- Ability to explain complex statistical and financial concepts in clear, accessible ways.
- A growth mindset: adaptable, performance-driven, and passionate about continuous improvement.
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
- Independent thinker, proactive problem-solver, and champion of innovation.
