This is what you will do:
As the Senior Director of Global Strategic Alignment, you will ensure alignment and coherence across our global operations and critical initiatives within the Development, Regulatory, and Safety (DRS) Department and report to the VP of Development, Efficiency, and Quality (DPQ). You will work closely with executive leadership to drive strategic planning, execution, and performance monitoring, ensuring that our activities align with our long-term objectives and contribute to our overall growth and success. Working in a cross-matrix team with shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
You will be responsible for:
- Lead the development and refinement of global strategic plans, collaborate with key partners globally across functions and regions. Translate corporate vision into actionable strategies and initiatives across DRS globally.
- Drive alignment of strategic priorities across functions and geographies to ensure coherence and alignment of resource allocation. Foster collaboration and integration to improve alignments and minimize redundancies.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external partners, including Therapeutic Area (TA) Heads and DRS leadership and other key executives within the company.
- Drive organizational change initiatives to support the implementation of strategic priorities.
- Effectively create and manage organisational change strategies across DRS to communicate, implement and manage adoption to ensure successful execution.
- Exhibit an entrepreneurial mentality with the ability to routinely predict, identify, generate, and evaluate alternative solutions to barriers in the business to keep the portfolio progressing to plan.
- Drive fiscal prudence while balancing with operational efficiency in DRS by pressure testing study budgets, minimizing spend, developing strategies for cost savings while building internal knowledge & expertise in the delivery of clinical trials.
- Lead cross-functional & global business excellence initiatives to streamline or develop process, speed up execution and remove barriers across DRS.
- Ensure approaches are in full compliance with all legal, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
You will need to have:
- A degree in a science-related industry or business administration with a proven track record in the healthcare, biotech, or CRO Industry (Ph.D., MSc, MBA, BSc.)
- A minimum of 10 years of managerial experience in Business Management, Alliance, Business operations, or related roles within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
- Experience with managing multiple projects with the ability to deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize sophisticated information and derive actionable insights.
- Excellent leadership and influencing skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams and motivating change in a dynamic environment.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas to diverse audiences.
- Strategic problem solver with a results-oriented approach and a passion for driving innovation and growth.
