Our Position

Reporting to the National Sales Manager GI, you are responsible for developing strategic relationships with key influencers, based on a deep scientific understanding of issues, to create opportunities and improve accessand drive growth for our GI oncology portfolio (Imfinzi and Imjudo).  You are located in the GTA with the territory consisting of GTA North, Northwest Ontarioand New Brunswick.

Responsibilities include:

  • Building AstraZeneca’s footprint in the GIand driving growth in your territoryand launching multiple new indications in these tumour sites over the coming years
  • Build effective cross-functional account strategies and plans in order to drive sales performance to go above and beyond while you creatively work within assigned budgets
  • Effectively communicate the scientific and clinical benefits of our products to top research and clinical practitioners using a multifaceted approach includingtraditional and virtual approaches
  • Create deep key account and key influencer relationships by analyzing problems, considering options and identifying innovative solutions by being tenacious and drawing upon all available resources
  • Build and arrange effective speaker programs with physician advocates andkey external experts byworking with the broadersales,brand andmedical teams
  • Work aligned to all external regulations and internal policies and training requirements
  • Work collaboratively to share improved practices and create opportunities for learning and shared platforms
  • Collect and report Adverse Events in accordance with AstraZeneca policies and procedures

Qualifications:

  • University degree in science and/or business
  • At least 10 years ofpharmaceuticalsales experience. Specialty care sales experience is required with oncology sales experience being a significant asset
  • You are able to positively impact and influence others and quickly establish credibility while building strong business relationships
  • You have a proven track record to manage different priorities and get results in multiple tumour sites with a variety of different specialists
  • Experience engaging key influencers (including oncologists and other critical HCPs within multi-disciplinary teams) in complex key accounts and clinical environments, and you have experience building strategy and programs to address issues and to ultimately improve care for patients
  • Experience maximising multiple communication channels (virtual, Omni and face to face) to engage key influencers
  • Well-organized with strong communication and business skills
  • A great teammate, able to work within a diverse, cross functional team, you improve team cohesiveness and agility within your therapeutic area and across tumour sites
