Introduction to Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Contract Operations Manager to join our team. This role is integral to our operations, focusing on all aspects of Market Access including Master Data, Contracting, Membership, Chargebacks, and Rebates. The successful candidate will be responsible for the receipt, analysis, impact, resolution, and reporting of all contractual payments across multiple customer segments. This role requires a deep understanding of claims processes, systems, and Market Access contracting processes and strategies to ensure contract compliance.

Accountabilities:

As a Contract Operations Manager, you will be expected to validate, monitor, and update Customer Master Data. You will work closely with the Customer Facing Team and Customers to obtain accurate membership rosters. Your responsibilities will also include processing, monitoring, reviewing, measuring, tracking, validating, researching, analyzing, and reporting on customer activity/utilization. You will develop an expertise with standard contract language and have the ability to draft and suggest modified language. You will also be expected to meet all compliance-related requirements such as completion of mandatory training, adherence to audit controls, and adherence to all AZ policies, SOPs, job aids, and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.

Essential Skills/Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree

• 5+ years of experience

• Contract Language Experience

• Logic and mathematical skills

• Highly proficient in Excel, Word & Power Point

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously

• Strong communication skills

• Strong attention to detail and trends

Desirable Skills/Experience:

• MBA

• J.D. Degree or Paralegal Certificate

• Understanding of AZ business model with specific knowledge of contract operations

• Pharmaceutical or related healthcare business experience
