We are excited to invite a skilled and detail-oriented Solution Preparation Technician to join our technically advanced Solution Preparation unit within the production team at AstraZeneca. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the accurate preparation and handling of components used in the solution preparation process, ensuring high standards of quality and precision to support our manufacturing processes. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a leading global pharmaceutical company and play a key part in the delivery of life-changing medicines.
Exciting 12 months Fixed term Full-time opportunity to cover the Night Shift on a 12 hours roster

What you’ll do
The Solution Preparation Technicians is responsible for playing a critical role for our business. Your responsibilities will include:
Manufacturing high quality medicines for patients
Preparing components and equipment for batch manufacture.
Dispensing of raw material for batch manufacture
Following protocols and procedures
Working closely with Engineering, Quality, and other teams to solve technical problems and work on process improvements
Essential for the role
Demonstrated experience working in a regulated and similar environment
Clear understanding of safety and GMP is in the workplace.
Strong technical background in batch manufacturing
Advanced problem-solving skills
Ability to work in an agile and flexible team
Desirables for the role
Experience in a Pharmaceutical manufacturing environment, ideally in solution preparation would be advantageous but not essential
