What you’ll do 

We are currently looking for a Regional Account Manager to join our NSW Sales team in a full time, permanent role.

The role of Regional Account Manager at Alexion Pharmaceuticals is the primary customer-facing position for our Haematology and Nephrology portfolio. This specific position is based in Sydney and incorporates shared responsibility for Alexion’s ongoing presence within NSW, and the ACT. The focus of the role is promotion to health care providers and development of opinion leader commercial relationships.

Essential for the role

  • Tertiary qualification, preferably in life sciences, medical or health

  • Experience selling to hospital specialists from within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry

  • Experience with a broad base of external customers in the NSW health network, including patients, prescribers, payors, providers

  • Proven track record for delivering consistent, ‘top-tier’ sales results

  • Demonstrated experience effectively working autonomously as well as independently

  • Proven experience developing strong, professional networks for scientific exchange and promotion with HCPs and in academic environments

  • Experience with change management

Desirable for the role

  • Sales experience in Haematology or Nephrology preferred

  • The ability to think strategically and be entrepreneurial

  • Experience in product launch or strategy development and execution
