We are hiring into our primary care sales force and have a contract opportunity for a First Line Sales Manager in Adelaide to join us and lead our CVRM GP sales team through this journey!

Our Primary Care GP Sales Representatives play a pivotal role in our journey to growth. We have an exciting opportunity available for a First Line Sales Manager in South Australia. This is a 12 month contract, full-time opportunity to commence January 2025.

What you’ll do

The First Line GP Sales Manager infield with the Primary Care GP Representatives is a critically important role for our business. Reporting to the Head of Sales, you will be primarily responsible for the attainment of sales targets through effective leadership and management of GP Sales Representatives across Adelaide. You will lead the development and delivery of local strategy and business plans to meet or exceed sales and call execution goals in territory. You will: 

  • Lead the team by displaying AZ leadership behaviors; define, communicate and implement a clear vision 
  • Analyse territory/market/competitor information to identify strengths and weaknesses 
  • Contribute to the business planning process for the team and region 
  • Ensure compliance and maintenance of systems to monitor progress towards sales objectives 
  • Utilise digital resources and tools available to form smart data-driven decisions and digital strategies 
  • Advocate for digital solutions across the business to plan, enhance outcomes, simplify processes and experiment to increase efficiency and productivity 
  • Develop and manage key customer relationships 

Essential for the role

  • Proven sales management experience in pharmaceutical/medical devices and a successful selling track record 
  • Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills with a strong customer focus 
  • Proven successes in building strong external and internal relationships through effective communication, influencing and collaborative networking skills 
  • Results orientation, strong business acumen and analytical skills to enable you to effectively contribute to the creation and implementation of sales/marketing strategies 
  • Commitment to integrate data insights to inform, validate and articulate decisions and ability to collaborate around data to enhance customer experiences 
  • Significant understanding of digital technologies and solutions and ability to lead and inspire others to bring them along on the digital journey

Desirable for the role

  • Completed Medicines Australia 
  • Business and/or Science related tertiary qualifications are preferred
