Senior Product Manager, NF1

The Senior Product Manager will be accountable for the development, management, and implementation of disease plans and associated omnichannel campaigns to meet commercial therapy area targets and support corporate and franchise goals and objectives.

You will be responsible for:

  • Work collaboratively with the cross-functional Franchise team to deliver initiatives, including leading development of and delivery of Franchise meeting sessions, campaigns and projects
  • Lead development of tactical disease plans with the cross functional team, prioritizing tactics aligned with growth opportunities within the Franchise, to improve patient outcomes and bring value to customers
  • Develop omnichannel campaigns aligned with lead generation principles
  • Lead implementation and track progress of omnichannel campaigns and activities in line with the disease plan
  • Embed omnichannel excellence into campaign design and content creation using customer behaviour and experience inights to develop patient centred solutions. 
  • Lead creation of digital content, following best practice design principles to maximise customer engagement and improve the customer experience.
  • Create and maintain impactful promotional and non-promotional content in line with all relevant regulations including the ABPI code.
  • Lead development of therapy area congress and events strategy to ensure high level customer engagement is achieved.
  • Manage budget associated with specific activities as per disease plans and in collaboration with commercial leadership
  • Develop and maintain excellent therapy area knowledge and market insights (individually and throughout the franchise team) to provide a competitive advantage
  • Manage external agencies to ensure high quality, compliant deliverables within budget
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with other functional areas. 
  • Present franchise performance at relevant local meetings
  • Ensure the highest standards of quality and compliance are maintained according to the ABPI and IPHA codes, SOPs and work practices

You will need to have:

To be considered for this position, you will have the following essential requirements:

  • 5+ years proven experience in Pharmaceutical product management and omnichannel campaign design and implementation
  • Knowledge of UK/Ireland’s country specific regulations, including the ABPI Code of Practice
  • Experienced in omnichannel marketing and lead generation principles
  • Proven track record in achieving franchise  goals
  • Experience of implementing tactics/activities across multiple channels including the Veeva platform,
  • email, web, social media, salesforce cloud and virtualevents
  • Proven experience of engaging and influencing HCPs - including key opinion leaders, especially in relation to organising events
  • Understanding of the disease planning process  
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a track record of effectiveness as a cross-functional team player and project leader who gets results
  • Must demonstrate an energy and enthusiasm which brings a positive approach to challenges and fosters the idea that nothing is impossible
  • Requires individuals with excellent project management, organisation skills, good attention to detail, and a strong sense of responsibility
  • Strong IT skills with good knowledge of Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, Word
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, fluency in English both written and oral mandatory
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline such as life sciences, business, english, psychology or marketing    

We would prefer for you to have:

  • ABPI Professional Examination
  • A patient and customer centric mindset
  • Experience in oncology, neurology and/or paediatrics market.  Rare disease experience desirable.
  • Experience of developing and implementing customer experience strategies   
  • Familiar with Platforms: Adobe Campaign Manager, Veeva Promomats
  • Lean start-up / “Minimal Viable Product” (MVP) / agile mindset
  • Good understanding of the NHS or equivalent structure and strategies, and how this impacts the business
