BUSINESS AREA

Working as a key member of the HR Services Team based, we are looking for an HR professional who can provide a trusted and quality HR advisory service by resolving low to medium complexity HR queries and issues through HR case management system (Service Now) in respect of various global and local HR policies and processes, as defined in the Global HR Services service catalogue.

What you’ll do

  • Advice & Guidance Specialist, People Services will provide guidance and coaching to managers and HR colleagues on all HR policies, processes and programs.  The role may also have specialist knowledge in a particular Human Resources functional area.  Process and project involvement for the role may vary due to local country needs.
  • Collaborate with HRBPs to support business leaders and line managers, and tailor HR support to local requirements and business priorities.
  • The role proactively supports and engage with managers giving advice and guidance on issues relating to their employees

Service delivery:

  • Provide guidance and coaching to managers and HR colleagues on all HR policies, processes and programs.
  • Respond to employees’ queries within the assigned timeframe through HR case management system.
  • Drive yearly plan of promoting HR Operating Model, coaching employees to use the right channels and HR teams to receive the support they need.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues located in Global and Regional HR Center and other HR Services teams in other countries to improve the employee experience
  • Handle different Workday business processes for the assigned account, Example:  (hiring, job change, termination, compensation changes, OM changes)
  • Manage 3rd parties and benefits providers related activities and make sure process is applied and compliant with company’s’ practices and policies.
  • Work with HRBPs to support business leaders and line managers to assist in annual people processes and to understand business priorities and tailor HR support to local requirements.
  • Deliver generalist HR support, acting as a key point-of-contact for provision of professional advice and support to a range of HR activities and programs.
  • Help in build business process flows and knowledge database to ensure business continuity.
  • Ensure HR policies and processes are always updated on company internal portal “ASK AZ”, identifying areas for enhancement and making recommendations for change.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with stakeholders to ensure that the right level of service is delivered  and that employees have the right level of expectations.
  • Provide ad-hoc and periodic reports and analysis to HR stakeholders and business.

Managing talent acquisition administration activities from logistical perspective including but not exclusive:

  • Schedule job interviews with candidates, manage all calendars updated and coordinate all interview logistics
  • Create job requisitions, offer letters and other documentation required for hire
  • Manage candidates’ communication including candidates rejections
  • Receive and answer candidate queries
  • Provide administrative support to Taq Partners and hiring managers through the recruitment process
  • Use the HR knowledge base and internal work instructions to ensure that processes are executed correctly, and customer guidance is provided in an effective and consistent manner
  • Look for opportunities to improve process execution and technology usage, working with Hiring/Recruitment Global Process Owner (GPO) to priorities and implement improvements
  • Local onboarding invites management / Scheduling Onboarding Sessions -  Egypt MC

Manage monthly payroll activities as follows:

  • Ensure Workday is updated with new entries/changes before payroll cut-off date
  • Payroll Revisions and feedback to payroll provider  
  • Follow up and respond to payroll vendor queries timely
  • Commit to payroll cycle calendar and push stockholders to commit as well
  • Ensure non-workday data to be shared with payroll provider before the first run
  • Ensure maintaining payroll accuracy at 100%
  • Respond to employees’ payroll related queries.
  • Early communicating payroll deductions with employees

Continuous improvement:

  • Champion self-service opportunities, working closely with HRBPs and other relevant stakeholders to implement and drive utilization of self-service by employees and Line Managers.
  • Identify areas of improvement and collaborate with local and global teams to introduce digital/simplification initiatives to improve process flow or employee experience.
  • Supports deployment of global projects in country, along with the support for ongoing HR local projects
  • Identify initiatives / good practice which could be scaled more broadly (i.e. across countries) and Work with Global HR Services colleagues to actively listen to and propose improved ways of working and work with relevant stakeholders to translate into actionable change.
  • Support continuous improvement projects as assigned and ensure completion of activities on time.
