Automation Engineer Summer Intern
We are seeking freshman, sophomore, and junior students majoring in Engineering, Biochemistry, Physics, or a related field for two 12-Week Student Intern roles to be working in Gaithersburg, MD for a May 19th - August 8th contract period.
Position Duties:
Testing new robotics and automation related technology in a lab setting.
Creating, reviewing and presenting new training protocols for existing robotics and automation systems.
Planning experiments and documenting experimental results.
Position Requirements:
Undergraduate freshman, sophomore, and junior students majoring in Engineering, Biochemistry, Physics, or a related field.
Candidates must have an expected graduation date after August 2025.
Coding skills such as Python, C++, or SQL are a plus.
Microsoft Office experience including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook is required.
Enthusiasm for collaboration, cross-functional projects, public speaking, and presentation design.
US Work Authorization is required at time of application.
This role will not be providing CPT/OPT support.
Ability to report onsite to Gaithersburg, MD for 3-5 days a week. This role will not provide relocation assistance.
Minimum grade point average of 3.0
