Are you ready to take on a dynamic role that involves maintaining and repairing critical utility systems? As a Utilities Operator II, you'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of HVAC, refrigeration, boiler, chiller, cooling tower, pumps and drives, WFI, pure steam, and chemical or water pretreatment equipment. Your expertise will be crucial in preventing any impact on Biologics manufacturing operations. You'll work in mechanical, pipefitting, plumbing, or electrical trades, and be prepared to tackle challenges head-on. This role requires you to be on your feet for most of the day, responding to trouble calls, investigating alarms, performing daily rounds, and inspecting operating equipment. Accountabilities:
• Use basic hand tools
• Read and record values from equipment instrumentation
• Read electronic schematics
• Must be able to read, write and utilize drawings, mathematics, and handbook formulas
• Read mechanical schematics and piping diagrams P&IDs
• Must be able to work in a clean room environment
• Candidate must possess basic computer skills
• Must have ability to communicate both orally and written in a clear manner
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds
Essential Skills/Experience:
- 3-5 years experience in utility work or general pm in utilities.
- HS diploma, technical school, or military training and experience in relevant field

The annual base pay (or hourly rate of compensation) for this position ranges from$55,713.60 to $83,570.40Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (salaried roles), to receive a retirement contribution (hourly roles), and commission payment eligibility (sales roles). Benefits offered included a qualified retirement program [401(k) plan]; paid vacation and holidays; paid leaves; and, health benefits including medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
