Quality Assurance & Control Summer Internships
We are seeking sophomore and junior students majoring in biological sciences, computer science, engineering, or a related field for a 10-Week Student Intern role to be working on a nationwide team with 5 openings in Frederick, MD for a June 2nd - August 8th contract period.
Position Duties:
The below Quality project teams will be hosting interns this Summer:
Quality Assurance & Data Science:
- Work on projects related to data analytics and any projects assigned by the quality department
- Learn to utilize company tools and resources to meet goals set by the quality system team
- Learn and develop with a highly motivated team environment in areas of operational excellence.
- Additional work may be provided to gain insights into activities executed under the quality organizations ranging from Quality Assurance, Quality Systems, and Quality Validation
Quality Control Microbiology:
- Execute endotoxin study
- Perform data analysis of data generated
- Support QC Microbiology personnel
Quality Control Analytics:
- Manage bioburden validation project by tracking progress and communicating status
- Perform bioburden validation testing throughout the campaign
- Organize data generated from project and format for reporting
Quality Control Information Systems:
- Participation in a project to automate lab processes in a digital Laboratory Execution System (LES).
- Support the team in creation of methods, data queries, use if AI, and general process improvements.
- Assist with other Information system projects, such as upgrades, segregated network and static data management.
Position Requirements:
- Undergraduate sophomore and junior students majoring in biological sciences, computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- **Candidates must have an expected graduation date after August 2025.
- Coding and computer programming skills such as python and SQL are a plus
- MS Office Proficiency Required.
- PowerBI or similar dashboard management experiences is a plus
- General Lab skills such as pipetting, aseptic technique, vortexing, and sample preparation
- Enthusiasm for collaboration, cross-functional projects, public speaking, and presentation design.
- US Work Authorization is required at time of application.
- Applicants must have work authorization that does not now or in the future require sponsorship of a visa (e.g., CPT, H1-B, F-1 (OPT), TN, or other non-immigrant status). This role will not be providing CPT/OPT support.
- Ability to report onsite to Frederick, MD 5 days a week. This role will not provide relocation assistance, and local candidates will be prioritized.
