Accountabilities
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and implementing solutions on the Salesforce platform. Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is a significant advantage, as it will aid in effectively aligning Salesforce functionalities with industry-specific requirements.
Essential Skills/Experience
- Salesforce Development: Design, develop, and implement customized solutions within the Salesforce environment.
- System Integration: Integrate Salesforce with other enterprise systems and applications.
- Process Automation: Develop automation solutions using Salesforce tools such as Flows, Process Builder, and Apex.
- Custom Solutions: Create and maintain custom objects, workflows, validation rules, and triggers.
- Data Management: Ensure data accuracy and integrity within Salesforce, performing regular data audits and cleanups.
- User Documentation: Prepare user documentation, including design specs, configuration guides, and deployment notes.
- User Support: Provide technical support and training to Salesforce users, solving issuesa as they arise.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with Salesforce releases and leverage new functionalities to improve business processes.
- Compliance: Ensure alignment to industry standards and regulatory requirements, particularly within the pharmaceutical sector.
Desirable Skills/Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of development experience on the Salesforce platform.
- Certifications: Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I or II.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and SOQL.
- Experience with Salesforce integration tools and data migration.
- Familiarity with web services, APIs, and related technologies (REST, SOAP).
- Industry Knowledge:
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is a significant advantage.
- Understanding of business requirements specific to the pharma sector.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Superb communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
