Accountabilities

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and implementing solutions on the Salesforce platform. Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is a significant advantage, as it will aid in effectively aligning Salesforce functionalities with industry-specific requirements.

Essential Skills/Experience

• Salesforce Development: Design, develop, and implement customized solutions within the Salesforce environment.
• System Integration: Integrate Salesforce with other enterprise systems and applications.
• Process Automation: Develop automation solutions using Salesforce tools such as Flows, Process Builder, and Apex.
• Custom Solutions: Create and maintain custom objects, workflows, validation rules, and triggers.
• Data Management: Ensure data accuracy and integrity within Salesforce, performing regular data audits and cleanups.
• User Documentation: Prepare user documentation, including design specs, configuration guides, and deployment notes.
• User Support: Provide technical support and training to Salesforce users, solving issuesa as they arise.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with Salesforce releases and leverage new functionalities to improve business processes.
• Compliance: Ensure alignment to industry standards and regulatory requirements, particularly within the pharmaceutical sector.

Desirable Skills/Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of development experience on the Salesforce platform.
• Certifications: Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I or II.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and SOQL.
• Experience with Salesforce integration tools and data migration.
• Familiarity with web services, APIs, and related technologies (REST, SOAP).
• Industry Knowledge:
• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is a significant advantage.
• Understanding of business requirements specific to the pharma sector.
• Soft Skills:
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Superb communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
