Accountabilities

• Ensure IT architectures appropriately embed and govern Information by integrating data models, master and reference data, and planning for metadata and data catalog integration.
• Coordinate and plan the use of data modeling resources to support the definition of project Information Architectures.
• Define standard methods of documenting Information Architectures within the IT project lifecycle in collaboration with the IA team.
• Work closely with Solution Architects to ensure that elements of a good Information Architecture are understood and embedded within project solutions.
• Collaborate with business data governance teams to ensure master and reference data are integrated into governance plans.
• Partner with Data Analysts and Data Governance teams to ensure data quality is addressed early in the project lifecycle.
• Review and support solution blueprints and capability maps to embed best practices and standard templates.
• Identify and define new process improvement opportunities.

Essential Skills/Experience

• Experience in an IT Architecture role, governing the design and architecture of new solutions.
• Knowledge and experience of a broad range of Data Management capabilities – including Data Architecture, Reference & Master Data Management, Metadata Management, Data Warehousing & Business Intelligence.
• Demonstrate good communication skills and facilitation skills with the ability to work with others across remote geographies to achieve objectives.
• Knowledge of both SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application and data design.
• Strong Exposure to IT Project Lifecycle.
• Ability to interpret and communicate technical information into business language.
• Exposure to Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, SAP is an added advantage.
