Introduction to Role:

Join our Enterprise AI Platforms and Technologies Team (EAIPT) as a Senior AI Business Analyst. We are responsible for building and running the platforms, tooling, and infrastructure that powers AstraZeneca’s ambition to use AI in every step of the value chain. You will be part of a collaborative team of multidisciplinary engineers and have the chance to create tools that will advance the standard of healthcare, improving the lives of millions of patients across the globe.

Accountabilities:

As a Senior AI Business Analyst, you will conduct strategic analysis, define requirements, design AI solutions, analyze data, monitor performance, assess risks, lead collaborators, and share knowledge.

You will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business objectives and AI driven solutions.

Collaborating closely with multi-functional teams to identify strategic opportunities and drive the implementation of AI initiatives.

Essential Skills/Experience:

• BSc/MSc/PhD in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field.
• Demonstrable experience (3+ years) in a similar role.
• Solid understanding of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and AI frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Understanding of DevOps/MLOps/AIOps practices and tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience working in an Agile team.
• Experience working with internal security standards and frameworks.
• Experience working with GxP-compliant life science systems.
• Creative, collaborative, and resilient.

Desirable Skills/Experience:

• Ability to drive conversations and collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and other collaborators.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to mentor junior analysts.
