Associate Director, Global Health Economics & Outcomes Research Innovation
This is what you will do:
The Associate Director, Global Health Economics and Outcomes Research Innovation (GHEOR) is a strategic pharmaceutical/biotech leader who bridges product development with health economics, evidence generation and outcomes assessments and novel capabilities (including generative and agentic AI) to bring a world class HEOR group into the future. The successful candidate will ideate, develop, utilize and train on tools developed applying innovative technologies to create efficiencies in the development of compelling value communication, health economics, analytics and evidence generation to secure optimal patient access for new and existing rare disease therapies.
This role will collaborate with the global HEOR team including global HEOR leads, the data science & analytics teams as well as the RWE & COA COEs to create efficiencies in the development and distribution of critical deliverables.
You will be responsible for:
Combining technical HEOR knowledge and innovative technology to amplify the HEOR team and support the development of HEOR deliverables. This role will be accountable for the following:
- Ideating, creating and deploying internal tools to help create efficiencies in the development of key HEOR deliverables potentially including Global Value Dossiers, Indirect Treatment comparisons, Economic Models (development and adaptation), local submission support, Joint Clinical Assessments, Payer Analysis plans, Systematic Literature Reviews, Real World Evidence protocol development, Integrated Evidence Generation plans, and more
- Building collaborative relationships with functional team members across global and international HEOR, Real World Evidence and Clinical Outcomes Assessment centres of excellence, Strategy and Operations
- Upskilling internal capabilities in the use of innovative technologies to help amplify your HEOR colleagues
- Continually monitoring the global marketplace for market access/HEOR trends and provide intelligence to team members.
You will need to have:
- Experience in developing HEOR deliverables (including but not limited to GVD, ITC, SLR, IEGP, etc)
- Strong track record of value communications
- Experience developing interfaces utilizing generative and agentic AI
- Understanding of the global HTA landscape and the US health care environment
- Knowledge of the drug development and commercialization process
- Recognized as a strong leader with a proven track record of effectively influencing, and developing people including those who are not direct reports: demonstrated ability to lead and deliver results in a matrix environment and solve complex issues that cross multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a track record of effectiveness as a team player; excellent oral/written communication and presentation skills
- Excellent project leader who can effectively manage multiple competing priorities and drive to completion.

- The duties of this role are generally conducted in an office environment.
