Your role
As a Facilities & Reliability Engineer, you’ll be responsible for:
• Coordinating maintenance & asset management for lab and office equipment as well as supplier management
• Optimising procedures and ensuring compliance in a regulated environment
• Supporting quality processes – writing procedures, maintaining documentation & systems (Veeva, EMS System, Blue Mountain, SAP), and assisting with change processes & root cause analysis
• Managing lab infrastructure – liquid nitrogen, CO₂, deep freezers, and alarms
• Project management for lab expansions and facility improvements
• Working with various stakeholders across all levels, collaborating to ensure operational excellence
What you bring
• Technical affinity – Background in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Ready to learn - You’ve got some experience and are ready to grow into a more responsible role
• Experience working in a regulated environment (Pharma, Food, High Tech)
• Hands-on & proactive – You enjoy being on the floor, solving problems, and working in a team
• Organised & detail-oriented – Strong documentation, compliance, and planning skills
• Good communicator – Comfortable working with different teams and stakeholders
• Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus)
• Must live within 30-45 minutes travel distance to the office for emergency calls
