Project Management Lead- Director
The role holder provides cross-functional leadership of the China product team (CNPT).This includes facilitating and contributing to the formation of product strategy options to be approved by the TA Head and once approved the execution of that strategy by the CNPT.The holder will ensure cross-functional alignment of the CNPT for interactions with senior management, including project review meetings and the China Portfolio Management Committee.The holder must also provide a strong link to the Global Product Team.The holder is accountable for the delivery of a large project, as agreed with the TA Head, to time, quality and budget.The accountabilities should be accomplished with limited support from the TA Head and/or the Head of Project and Portfolio Management.
Academic / Professional Qualification
Education with Pharmaceutical related major and project management training
Technical / Skills Training
-Deep knowledge in drug development and project management, with both global and China experience
-Solid knowledge and experience in financial management of projects and developing the business cases for projects.
-Disease Area expertise in one or more therapy areas
-Understanding of project management tools and ways of working to plan, execute, identify and mitigate risks for a project
-Leadrsip, strategic thinking, problem solving
- Effective meeting and time mgmt and meeting minute organization
•At least 5 years relevant working experience in pharmaceutical industry
•Global working experience is a must
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITE
- Leading the planning/execution of portfolio projects and programs in CNPTs
-Responsible for the development of strategic options for a project
-Responsible for coordinating the creation of project plan (business case, cross-functional development plans, budget and timeline), and project plan update and maintenance
-Responsible for tracking performance of project delivery
- Tracking and managing project performance (e.g., timeline/budget), monitoring/addressing emerging issues, and providing regular project update to governance body, stakeholders and senior management
-Coordinating the project plan approvals by governance bodies and communicating the decision to stakeholders
-Leading respective project review at C-PRF and PMC
- Be the interface with GPT project mgmt on CNPT behalf
