SAP Product Manager (Supply Chain Planning)

Introduction to the role:

The S/4HANA IT Business Analyst role is a pivotal position within the S/4HANA IT team, playing a crucial role in defining AstraZeneca's Global template. This role aligns with our ambition of adopting industry-standard methodologies and fit-to-standard solutions. As an IT Network Strategy & Supply Chain Planning Product Manager, you will be aligned with AstraZeneca's operations capability associated with Global Supply. You will collaborate with Enterprise Business Partners and Product Owners to define integrated IT solutions, focusing on S/4HANA and other applications.

Accountabilities:

• Design the IT solution underpinning the global standard process design for your capability
• Support business teams in process design to align with SAP standard functionality
• Assist the data team in successful migration/creation of data objects supporting the AZ global design
• Collaborate with S/4HANA solution design team members to ensure robust integration across all SET areas
• Work with AZ Architecture teams to align solution and data design with strategic IT application views
• Ensure effective data integration delivery across the IT landscape
• Proactively consider latest industry and SAP functionalities within your capability and the wider program
• Document and test the solution design in accordance with AZ compliance standards
• Contribute to detailed planning for solution delivery in your capability area and ensure timely delivery
• Report on activity status to plan and manage RAID items when assigned
• Support design through appropriate governance forums
• Represent IT as an SME at respective program and business data forums
• Champion the design for your capability through appropriate governance forums
• Represent your process domain on senior internal and external forums as required

Essential Skills/Experience:

• SAP implementations for complex global organisations from design to completion of deployment
• Experience of Pharmaceutical supply chain business activities and required business outcomes within the relevant capability area
• Knowledge of SAP technologies and functionalities including APO
• Good stakeholder management and communication skills with Business and IT areas
• Knowledge of the SAP application roadmap relevant to your line of business and ability to translate that roadmap into the AZ strategic view
• Demonstrated knowledge of SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA configuration requirements in your capability area
• Exceptional presentation skills and the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to different teams
• Knowledge of standard project tools like JIRA, Smartsheets, and Solman
• Comfortable diving into technical details and solving problems with urgency
• Self-motivated with ability to prioritise effectively to achieve project goals
• Innovative capabilities, agile approach requiring critical thinking and foresight

Desirable Skills/Experience:

• Certification in specific SAP S/4HANA or ECC lines of business or willingness to complete such certification
• A track record of delivering SAP configuration designs for supply chain modules
• Experience working in a hybrid environment with a mix of internal and external resources in multiple geographical locations
• Knowledge of non-SAP technologies in the relevant line of business, e.g., OMP
