The R&D Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team is tasked with running reporting and planning for the enterprise R&D function and this role supports the Oncology R&D organization. This is a critical position on the R&D FP&A team, reporting to the R&D Finance Director of Planning and Performance, and supporting the Director, Oncology FP&A. It offers an exceptional opportunity for exposure to senior management combined with exposure to Oncology’s growing portfolio, current performance, and strategic initiatives.
Accountabilities
- Supporting the Director, Oncology FP&A, you will support R&D financial planning and reporting for Oncology R&D, including quarterly business reviews (QBR), rolling business updates (RBU), Long-term planning (LTP), and Mid-term planning (MTP).
- Preparing high-quality financial reports and presentations, with a primary focus on the Director, Oncology FP&A, Oncology R&D Finance VP, Oncology R&D EVP, and other R&D Finance leadership team members.
- Leading ad-hoc analysis and business cases as they arise.

Essential Skills/Experience
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Accounting or Finance
- 5-10 years’ experience in R&D Finance and/or Commercial Finance in a global pharmaceutical organization.
- Experienced working within a multi-disciplinary, cross-cultural, global environment
- Forward-thinking problem solver who excels at thinking beyond conventional boundaries
- Self-starter, proactive and able to work with individuals at all levels in the organization.
- Expertise in analytics
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Able to work under pressure, deliver to tight deadlines and has a flexible approach
- Presentation and communication skills; able to present both impactful and easily understandable financial data and associated recommendations to a financial and non-financial audience
Desirable Skills/Experience
- Understanding of the drug development life cycle and/or commercial aspects
- MBA or equivalent qualification

The annual base pay for this position ranges from $115,969 to $173,954. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (salaried roles), to receive a retirement contribution (hourly roles), and commission payment eligibility (sales roles). Benefits offered included a qualified retirement program [401(k) plan]; paid vacation and holidays; paid leaves; and, health benefits including medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
